Antonio Conte is likely to be sacked after finishing two years at Chelsea winning two competitions, that being the Premier League in 2017 and the FA Cup triumph over Manchester United in 2018 but that isn’t appeasing to the fans and the club owner Roman Abromovich.
The latest reports suggest that the blues have already identified former Napoli manager Maurizio Sarri as the best candidate to take over the west London club which will hope that he can revive their form in Premier League next season.
Napoli star Lorenzo Insigne has made a major hint that his former boss will be going to England to manage the blues in this summer transfer window after he said that he would be happy if he sat on the Chelsea bench because Maurizio Sarri was outstanding when he was at the Italian club.
“If I sit on the Chelsea bench, I will be happy because he did well with Napoli and our football was appreciated by everyone.” Insigne told Metro Sport.
“I wish him good luck and I hope he brings his mentality there. ”
Chelsea is yet to make any sort of announcement regarding the sacking of Antonio Conte or even the appointment of a new manager but the fans however will gladly accept the decision by the club to sack their current Italian tactician because he the team was poor last season.
