Manchester United have decided not to rush to set a return date for the injured striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who may return in the coming few weeks.
The Swedish striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, suffered from a knee injury since last year, almost nine months ago, and it took him until November to return to Manchester United’s full training before his injury renews recently after playing 45 minutes in the Premier League and he got subbed off then by Jose Mourinho.
According to the Sun, a newspaper, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is continuing his recovery, and Manchester United believe that the player will return soon to the field, and his recovery is going well but the return date isn’t determined yet.
Manchester United said in a report:”Manchester United have given Ibrahimovic a chance to set his recovery period on his own. He decided to withdraw from the first team training in order to work for a better return and to be fit.”
The report continued:”Zlatan is not suffering from a severe injury, and he is always in the gym with the trainers of the club, and they are happy to help him to take the decision for his return date.”
However, Ibrahimovic is not expected to get a new contract at the end of the season due to his injury and declined form and his new destination is expected to be the MLS or China.
