Chelsea Qualifies For The Next FA Cup Round

Chelsea have qualified for the fourth round of the FA Cup with a home win over Norwich City on Wednesday.

The two teams had met earlier in the Norwich stadium, and the match ended in a goalless draw which caused Chelsea to play the second leg where the Belgian striker Michy Batshuayi scored Chelsea’s first and only goal in the 55th minute, from an assist from the Brazilian Kenedy before Norwich City scores the equalizer in the 90 + 4 minute.

Both teams had to go for the penalty shootout after both teams failing to score during the extra time where Chelsea and Antonio Conte subbed off Danny Drinkwater for Eden Hazard who also failed to score or help his team and Alvaro Morata to score.

Then Chelsea were able to qualify for the next round of the FA Cup and will be playing against the Premier League side Newcastle United after winning on penalties 5-3 against Norwich City where Chelsea’s goalkeeper Willy Caballero saved Norwich City’s first penalty to hand Chelsea the qualification.
