Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has expressed his happiness after the win in the Derby against Everton where Virgil van Dijk scored the winning goal and his first goal to send Liverpool to the third round of the FA Cup on Friday.
The Dutchman, Virgil Van Dijk, has scored the winning goal for Liverpool in the last minutes of the match and in his debut match with the Reds after his move from Southampton last week in a record deal to Liverpool.
Jurgen Klopp said:” An amazing goal by Van Dijk and an amazing story today in a world that doesn’t have a lot of nice stories, it’s something really special for him”
Van Dijk had a great performance in the defense, before scoring the winning goal. His manager, Jurgen Klopp, said he was very happy with the Dutch international’s debut with the Reds.
Klopp continued:” Van Dijk showed that there are a lot of things that he wants to do in the future and also the score from his first touch. It’s amazing.”
Knowing that Virgil Van Dijk expressed his happiness as well after scoring the winning goal and he said that scoring a goal on his debut was his childhood dream that just came true.
